Electric slip lines with a pale celadon neck, and lovely glaze drip on the shoulder.
Every pot in a cross-draught wood kiln comes out with a record on it's surface of the geography of it's placement in the kiln, and the time and event sequence of the firing. Occasionally pots come out two-faced, like this one. The hotter side facing the right handed drinker and the lighter, brighter color is the cooler side for the lefty. Out of diversity comes a beautiful unity.
