Mug

This black/russet/maroon glaze and combed decoration is indescribably lush and was everything and more that Mark had hoped for when he started working on new glazes last year. It's a red clay slip under a celadon glaze creating a spectacular combination of colors and a pleasantly contrasting creamy light rim.

We call these barrel mugs, and they are a joy to hold and to use.
