Mug

Creamy white mug with finger swipe that exposes the clay so it reveals to a salt glaze arc, melted blue glass, yellow ash glaze neck and a brown band that melted like a caramel drip onto the shoulder.

There is a slight indentation on the belly made by Mark's hand as he lifted the wet mug from the wheel to put on the board beside him. You can see it in the second photo.

We call these barrel mugs, and they are a joy to hold and to use.
